Children’s ticket policies vary by event. For most shows geared toward children, any child who has reached their first birthday must have a ticket. For most concerts and touring shows, children who have reached their second birthday require a ticket. For Oklahoma City Thunder games, children ages 2 & below do not require a game ticket; ages 3 and up (this includes children needing a seat) require a game ticket to enter Chesapeake Energy Arena. In some cases an event will require every guest, regardless of age, to have a ticket. However, for every event, a child will require a ticket in order for them to have their own seat. To verify the policy for a specific event, check that event’s page on the Chesapeake Arena website or feel free to contact us by email.
Please confirm your ticket selection at the time of purchase as tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
Resale of Tickets
The resale of event tickets on the grounds of Chesapeake Energy Arena is strictly prohibited. To avoid problems with inflated prices, counterfeit or stolen tickets, please purchase your tickets through authorized Ticketmaster outlets only.
Tickets for wheelchair accessible seating may be purchased along with seating for companions or guests at the box office, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, and online.
Please indicate when purchasing tickets if you require accessible seating. For additional information, please visit our Accessibility Guide.
When purchasing tickets by phone or online, you may choose to pick them up at the Box Office Will Call window during normal business hours, beginning 48 hours after purchase or on the day of the show. Will Call policies may vary for select events, so please check the event page where any changes will be noted.
When picking up Will Call tickets, please be prepared to provide the credit card used to purchase the tickets as well as a valid photo I.D., and your order confirmation.
Press and VIP tickets are typically available approximately 60-90 minutes prior to the event, and can also be picked up at Will Call with a valid photo I.D.
When facing the stage or playing surface, seat No. 1 will always be the farthest to the right in each row at the arena.
In an effort to be fair to all who wish to purchase tickets, the Box Office uses a lottery system as required for major on-sales. The policies and procedures for the lottery system are detailed below.
Camping out is not necessary and not permitted.
- No lines before 7:00 AM please.
Purpose of Lottery
- Helps to prevent scalping.
- Helps to maintain the order of the line.
- Ensures everyone a fair chance to be first in line.
- Prevents lines from interfering with other events.
Standard Lottery Policy
- Only one raffle ticket will be issued per person.
- If a person takes more than one raffle ticket, they will be disqualified.
- You must be at least 12 years old to participate.
- Persons who arrive after the lottery must go to the end of the line.
- 7:00 AM* – Line forms.
- 9:00 AM* – Raffle tickets are issued. (8:30 AM for Thunder Playoff on-sale)
- 9:30 AM* – Lottery drawing. (9:00 AM for Thunder Playoff on-sale)
- 10:00 AM* – On-sale begins.
Every person who arrives before the drawing will be issued a raffle ticket. Please note however that a raffle ticket only guarantees a place in line – not a ticket. At the time of the drawing, the tickets are shuffled and one ticket is drawn. The person who has the matching ticket number becomes the first person in line. Everyone else stays in numerical order, and those with lower ticket numbers go to the end of the line.
400 people are issued raffle tickets for an on-sale. The number 211 is drawn during the lottery. The person holding ticket number 211 becomes first in line. Everyone stays in numerical order. The person with 212 becomes second, 213 third, and so on. Then, those with ticket numbers 1-210 simply line up behind the person with ticket number 400.
Please note: All times are based on a standard 10:00 AM on-sale. The times and the location of where the line should form may vary due to the number of participants anticipated, weather conditions, or other event requirements. Signs will be clearly posted prior to the on-sale.
